What are the types of plastic bottles?

There are many kinds of plastic. So far, there are about 300 kinds of plastic put into production in the world. There are more classification methods of plastics, and there are two commonly used methods:

1、according to the properties of plastic after heating is divided into thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics:

Thermoplastics are linear molecules that soften or melt when heated and can be moulded into a shape that hardens when cooled. It softens again when heated to a certain extent and hardens again when cooled, a process that can be repeated many times. Such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc. Thermoplastic molding process is relatively simple, can be continuous production, and has quite high mechanical strength, so the development of fast.

The molecular structure of thermosetting plastic is the structure of bodily form, softening also occurs when being heated, and can be molded into a certain shape, but after being heated to a certain degree or adding a few curing agents, hardening finalize the design, reheating also won't become soft and change the shape. Thermosetting plastics are no longer softened after being heated, so they cannot be recycled and reused, such as phenolic plastics, amino plastics and epoxy resins. Thermosetting plastic molding process is more complex, so continuous production has certain difficulties, but its heat resistance is good, not easy to deformation, and the price is relatively low.

2、 according to the use of plastic is divided into general plastics and engineering plastics:

General plastics refers to the production of large, low price, a wide range of applications of plastics, mainly including polyolefin, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, phenolic plastics and amino plastics five varieties. Many of the products people use in their daily lives are made from these general-purpose plastics.

Engineering plastics are plastics that can be used as engineering structural materials and replace metal for machine parts. For example, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyformaldehyde, ABS resin, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyester, polysulfone, polyimide and so on. Engineering plastics have the characteristics of low density, high chemical stability, good mechanical properties, excellent electrical insulation, easy processing and forming, etc., widely used in automobile, electrical appliances, chemical industry, machinery, instruments, instruments and other industries, but also used in aerospace, rockets, missiles and other aspects.

There are many types of plastic packaging containers (plastic bottles, etc.), which can be classified in the following ways:

(1) By chemical composition: Plastic containers can be divided into PE, PP, PS, PVC, PET, NY, PC, PF, UF containers, etc.

(2) According to the molding method: plastic containers can be divided into blow molding, injection, extrusion, molding, hot forming, rotating, winding molding containers, etc.

(3) According to the shape and use of the container plastic containers can be divided into boxes, bottles, bags, hose, etc.
